Daily Devotions - November 1st.

“This is the day that The LORD has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.” (Psalm 118:24).

Today is a non-renewable resource…it is unique…lived only once…and once it has gone – It’s gone! One of our responsibilities as believers is to ensure we use each day thoughtfully in the service of God and of His people.

Why? Well, when we do so, we enrich our own life and the lives of others.

We can be sure from Scripture that GOD has richly blessed us, and He wants us to rejoice in His gifts.

That’s why we should begin each day with a word of Thankfulness to God in prayer. The fact that we have opened our eyes and have been granted ‘another day’ is a very good reason for us thankful!

Then too, we should thank God each day for our Salvation

through Jesus Christ.

As far as I can see Joy is the great note that sounds throughout the Bible. You see Christ and deep-seated joy go together!

But even the most dedicated of Christians can, on occasion, forget make the most out of every day. Oh, that we should see each day for what it: is such a Priceless Gift!

What do you really expect from ‘today’? Are you expecting God to do amazing things…OR…. are you living under the heavy cloud of apprehension, doubt and fear?

The familiar words of our Verse remind us that every day, is a day for celebration. I think it is our duty to rejoice in God each day.

So today, celebrate the life that God has given you. Put a song deep in your heart and a smile on your face – despite your circumstances. Be generous with your praise. Be liberal with your encouragement. For when people see a smile on our faces, they too are uplifted…smiles are infectious!

Remember that each day is God given, however He has given us pretty clear instructions as to how we are to use them. We are commanded to rejoice…If you are ever going to do anything for our LORD, NOW is the time!

Rejoice Always!

I dare you!!!!
